At the Fair
July 26th, 2008

I worked the library booth at the Monroe County Fair this past week and got to walk around for a little bit and take it all in. I am a total city/suburban girl at heart when it comes to this stuff! I checked out the animals, and stumbled on the livestock auction. Surprisingly, some people were buying pigs, goats and cows as a gift to local community kitchens and other hot-plate charities. Who knew! As interested in food as I am, I always learn new things about the cycle of land to plate. Living in Indiana brings all that closer than I knew.
Also? Looking at these has got me thinking….

Clarification please. What has it got you thinking about?
Getting another tattoo!
Wasn’t the fair fun! Seeing the animals and booths and whatnot. More people need to attend fairs in their communities.

As for getting another tattoo…I don’t know, a lot them seemed a bit gaudy. I liked the one with the needle and little bit of thread.
I think with the tattoo that less is more! I’d go small
Does everyone think I am going to get a huge scissors back piece?
It IS you… of course they’d think that you were getting an extraordinarily large tattoo! Have you never met yourself before??? Maybe incorporate your current tattoo by making the design the tip of a thimble.
I like Timmy’s idea! Go with the thimble.
Yeah, but he is talking about a HUGE thimble. A whole back thimble.
wow, all this talk about tattoo…you better show us a good one lady.
