Forward Progress
January 3rd, 2008

Sorry it is a little off center, but it becomes increasingly hard to photograph larger quilts in my increasingly small house. New Years day proved to be snowy and cold, a perfect day to knock out a large chunk of sewing for the top of Thien’s Block of the Month quilt. I am loving how it looks. The fabric colors are slippery, changing from brown to tan to green to yellow depending on the light.
Oh, yeah. We also updated the blog in the past few days. Comment away.

Hey! I love the new blog and I am LOVING our quilt! It is beautiful and I can’t wait to get under it.
Love the snow pics as well. We’re freezing here but of course, no snow. But at least I get to bundle up and use my scarves (not all at once of course) and gloves.
AWESOME~ !!
you totally have a talent for the quilting, Sarah. My grandmother would be completely impressed! My favorite quote of my own is the one I told you on your wedding about building the quilt squares of your life. I think that is very cool that I said that to you without knowing at the time you were so into quilting. Coinky-dink? maybe not! Keep up the great work!! And do think about going into custom and specialty quilting. I think you could really go far with an endeavor like that! Keep in touch! Laurie
Holly mollie- you made that Sarah?! You’ve done gotten extra crafty-like since I last saw you (way too long ago btw). That’s really quite lovely.
I dig the new blog format too. Take care… Dan
It is absolutely beautiful. I love the colors and designs. You’re a real artist. Stay warm! Mark
Hey Sari, I got a suggestion for taking pics of huge quilts, lay them out on the lawn and then climb up onto your roof. That should get you the vantage point.
