Bussey’s

Nohemi and I spent a chilly but sunny Sunday afternoon sorting through dusty, dirty, (sometimes moldy) junk and had a great time. There wasn’t much there in the way of fabric, quilt tops, or quilts but many people had antique sewing machines or cases. Nohemi was looking for unique things for her garden, but ended up buying two inside pieces…an onion bin for her yarn (complete with onion skins), and a vintage suitcase, just because. I bought a little sewing machine desk that needs a little love (but worth it at 3 bucks), a quilting book that has been on my amazon list for awhile, and a sheet of Russian stamps, just because.

There is also painting going on at my house, both back bedrooms are getting a coat of fresh pale blue (Scandinavian Sky) paint. Will take pictures when we are finished.

Tim and I have been talking lately about just using flickr for all our photos instead of doing the galleries on our site as it is much easier…I have been frequently posting photos there, so check those out.
